Dear Church:

Dear Church:

As terrible as human trafficking is, our loving Heavenly Father has chosen and prepared us, His Church, to respond to this atrocity.

Can we partner together?

“Coming together is a beginning.

Keeping together is progress.

Working together is success.”

–Henry Ford

This summer Abolition Now began offering a variety of church presentations, from a full Sunday morning presentation to a smaller, casual conversation with pastors and church leaders. Our goal is simply to fulfill our mission, “Uniting the Church to Serve the Sexually Exploited and Vulnerable.” We come with no agenda, no financial fundraising goals–simply a desire to serve churches and educate them on the reality of what’s happening in our communities.

The truth is, human trafficking is a reality in every community and, sadly, one of the fastest growing criminal enterprises in the world. Much of why this evil exists is a result of what is broken in our society today—the family structure, our culture, loopholes in our laws, and of course, greed.

Yet, as sad as human trafficking is, our loving Heavenly Father has chosen and prepared us, His Church, to respond to this atrocity. We have the power of Christ to significantly impact those affected by human trafficking, and the potential to end it–by educating the body of Christ, providing resources to combat this evil, and by giving a platform with opportunities to get involved.

Not sure if your church is ready for a presentation? Or are you looking for other ways to learn about how you can get involved? Good news! Abolition Now is now offering our Church Resources Booklets for sale online. These comprehensive booklets cover everything you need to know to become educated on the issue of sex trafficking in the Northwest, and ends with tons of creative, practical, and  important ways for your church to join the fight.

Our church resource materials are designed specifically for the Church, with input from local pastors and those engaged in anti-trafficking efforts. Our prayer is that this material will be a powerful resource to mobilize your church. Together we CAN make a difference to the vulnerable and exploited in our communities.

Dear Church, this is not “our moment.” It is always in His hands. Yet humbly we are asking you to join together with us in this mission. Together, we can shine the light of Christ into a very dark area of our communities. Together we can join forces and show our neighborhoods what it means for the church to care for the vulnerable and exploited. Our God is a God who fights for the oppressed and loves justice–and we pray that we, as the Church, will take this chance to embody that to the world.
