Polaris Project

About the Organization

Polaris Project is one of the largest anti-trafficking organizations in the United States. Polaris Projects has a comprehensive approach to combating human trafficking which includes conducting direct outreach and victim identification and providing social services and transitional housing to victims. It advocates for stronger state and federal anti-trafficking legislation and engages community members in local and national grassroots efforts.

Polaris is leading the fight to eradicate modern-day slavery with a 3-part model that systemically disrupts human trafficking:

  1.  Respond to victims of human trafficking effectively and immediately
  2. Equip key stakeholders and communities to address and prevent human trafficking
  3. Disrupt the business of human trafficking through targeted campaigns

They also provide multiple programs which are national and global hotlines,  government relations, advisory services, data analysis and strategic interventions.

For more information on their extensive list of projects and services, please visit their website.
