About the Organization
Mission: HomePlate supports the positive development of young people experiencing homelessness or housing instability through community building, education, access to services and resources, and youth empowerment.
About: Three nights and one afternoon a week, HomePlate hosts drop-in locations and provides access to necessary resources like hygiene supplies, clothes closet, shower, arts and recreation, and most importantly, supportive relationships with our community of staff and volunteers. The drop-in meals are for youth ages 12 to 24 (and their children), especially for young people who are experiencing housing instability or need extra support in order to achieve self-defined success.
In addition, they have opportunities through their Youth Employment Program as well as outreach and community connections
