About the Organization
Dr. Cyndi Romine started Called to Rescue in 1992 after she witnessed, first-hand, the horror of sex trafficking during a trip overseas. Their mission is to prevent the abduction of children into sex trafficking through training, safe houses, and education, as well as the rescue of those already held prisoners, by all means available.
A unique method CTR has developed is the Civilian Task Force. CTR’s task force teams work with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies to locate children who are missing, have been abused or trafficked.
Our classes train individuals how to safely seek out and find children that are being held against their wills. We also teach what procedures are expected after a child has been found. We have online training that teaches about prevention and awareness. Please see our website for more information regarding these opportunities.
