About the Organization
Adorned in Grace raises awareness and funds to fight human trafficking through the Abolition Now resource website and our Bridal Shops, and aims to prevent trafficking by mentoring youth at our Design Studios. Our work is based in Portland, OR but we also have locations in Tacoma, WA and San Tan Valley, AZ. There is suffering caused by human trafficking in your community, but we believe you can do something about it. We believe God is calling compassionate people of faith to rise up against sexual exploitation – no matter your background, experience, or skill set.
Through the Adorned in Grace Design Studio Outreach to At-Risk Youth, mentors connect with vulnerable girls and boys in low-income, high crime neighborhoods through community workshops. Mentors come alongside the youth to build personal, healthy, love-of-God connections while teaching valuable life skills, so that they never have to experience the devastation of trafficking.
We believe the past doesn’t have to determine the future of someone who has been sexually exploited, so we rally together with other community groups and passionate volunteers to provide care and assistance that helps survivors become thrivers, primarily through Collaborative Crisis Prevention. We accept grant applications for crisis prevention in the life of a sexually exploited woman or girl.
