You’re invited to Rahab’s Sister’s for a training event focused on expressions of radical hospitality! This event will feature an expert panel including officers from our local police’s sex-trafficking unit and a trauma-informed counselor. They will be sharing their insights and experiences from their work with high-risk populations. We’ll begin with learning more about the context and experience of the women who come as guests and then lead into applying practical tips for compassionate engagement and safe de-escalation.
This training is designed for volunteers at Rahab’s Sisters but the invitation is open and extended into the community of advocates who want to listen in and learn along, too. With the desire for more collaboration, creativity and compassion to grow among us all, come & invite a friend!
