There are a growing number of churches that are mobilizing foster care initiatives and are utilizing MTS Basic Training and the ten-week small group process for the preparation and development of their leaders as they desire to wrap connected support around foster parents, foster children, and birth families.
Other churches are utilizing MTS Basic Training and small group process to develop well trained mentors to walk alongside those who need specialized support within their community but cannot afford professional services. There are also a growing number of residential and day-home facilities for sex-trafficked youth/adults that are utilizing MTS Basic and Princess Lost & Found as their mentor model for continuous care of marginalized and vulnerable youth/adults.
This Basic Training provides the foundational piece for understanding abuse and how to offer abuse ministry so ministry to the broken can be grounded in safety.
