This year House Bill 3143 was passed, which mandated that a new sticker called “Freedom Stickers” go out with renewal of each liquor license in the state of Oregon.
Research has shown that the place a victim of human trafficking is most likely to be alone is inside a restroom stall. These stickers, designed with advice from human trafficking survivors, are to be placed inside the restroom stalls. With the short text code, BeFree (233733) a victim can text for help and know help is on the way and erase the texts from their phone before leaving the bathroom stall.
