2013 Walk a Mile in Her Shoes

Please join us on Saturday, September 14, 2013 for the annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event benefitting the Sexual Assault Resource Center (SARC).  Registration and refeshments at 9:00am.  The walk and opening remarks starts at 10:00am. 

There are several ways to get involved and help out:

  1. Register & Fundraise: create a FirstGiving page to raise money for SARC through your Walk a Mile in Her Shoes event page.  Directions are listed on the site.
  2. Recruit others: Post flyers around your workplace, share them on social media and email them out to your friends and family to increase participation.
  3. Sponsorship: become a corporate sponsor or recruit business owners you know to join in the cause.

SARC services include a 24 hour support line, in-person crisis response, case management, individual and group mental health services, culturally specific services to Latinas and victims of human trafficking and school-based prevention education.
