About the Organization
Soul Survivor Ink., is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit, focused on helping survivors of human trafficking and gang affiliations heal from the pain of their past through “branding” tattoo lightening and removal. We do this through our own proprietary process of lightening and removing the tattoos. We partner with local community organizations across the nation to refer men and women to our safe, certified, and trained affiliate lightening/ removal technicians and tattoo artists. These like-minded artists and organizations we call Soul Survivor affiliates. Soul Survivor Ink and its affiliates specialize in tattoo lightening through our special machinery, methodology and training process. Our tattoo artist affiliates are located throughout the country. We meet with the participant to determine what procedure would be best and what fits the needs of the client. Tattoo removal is a multi-session process and can take months for complete removal. There are times due to mitigating factors that cover-ups are needed. Soul Survivor pays technicians and artists a modest fee for their expenses. When an organization, parent, or guardian is able to contribute $25 or $50 to these services, it is appreciated. We do not want the survivor to incur any cost. Ultimately, our goal is to reach the entirety of the United States and give hope where often there is none.
