About the Organization
Girls Inc. of Northwest Oregon inspires girls, ages 6-18, to be strong, smart, and bold. Our gender-specific programs and research-based curricula provide girls with the confidence and self-esteem to access a bright and economically independent future.
Our programs in the PNW help girls form a healthy peer network, achieve academically and begin preparing for their future through girls group meetings and enrichment activities. Our research-based programs are designed to address bullying, money management, drug and alcohol abuse prevention, science and tech-oriented academic/career fields, media literacy, and safety.
How You Can Help
Volunteer with Girls Inc. as a board or committee member, a girls’ group co-facilitator or one of many other positions. You can also donate over the phone or online. Please see their website for more information.
