About the Organization
As part of the larger organization, Ambassadors Football, Ambassadors PNW works towards the transformation of individuals and communities through indigenous football outreach. Ultimately, they would like to disciple believers, train football ministers, and reach people of the Pacific Northwest with the truth of the Gospel.
With regards to human-trafficking, they have recently developed an awareness program called "The Good Life," using soccer games, skits, and discussions. Because of the program's success overseas, it has been adapted for America, focusing on 11-15 year olds, since the US average age of victimization is 13. With youth more knowledgeable on how to recognize, stay safe from, and deal with instances of human-trafficking, Ambassadors PNW hopes to make a positive impact on local communities. Ambassadors PNW also teaches life skills through soccer activities, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy combined with soccer to help survivors in the process of recovery and reintegration to the community.
